In this mediation practice, you learn to use a simple phrase to help focus the mind. It is easy for our minds to wander on to all sorts of topics and ideas, and by meditating, we learn to exercise our minds by staying present. Every time our mind wanders, we come back to the present. In this class, the phrase “just breathe, and stay present” gives us mental focus. Repeat this phrase throughout the class, focus on your breathing, and soon you’ll be finished, refreshed, and ready for another day.
